Guatemalan
Coffees ® guarantees origin
and coffee quality. Also, we can customize special blend preparations
according to customer needs.
Guatemalan
Coffees ® promotes a wide
variety of activities in order to educate the consuming public
of the excellence of its product, both nationally and internationally.
These activities benefit over 65,000 coffee growers. Most of
them cultivate coffee in small family plots and process their
harvest in cooperative mills.
Today
we have 17 regional offices situated in different departments
and counties throughout the Republic. These centers offer growers
technical advice and information regarding all subjects related
to the cultivation of coffee, such as:
|
Soil, plant and water analysis
Cupping reports
International prices and news about coffee
Promotion of the product nationally and internationally
|
Export licenses
Coffee shipment control at the ports
Social issues

Guatemalan
Coffees ® is challenged by
the competitive environment in which coffee is marketed and
it is confident that its exceptional quality in the cup will
convince consumers to choose one of its distinctive regions.
Our
challenge
Guatemalan
Coffees ® interest is to
satisfy the market necessities regarding high quality coffee.
We can offer not only availability of this product but also
we can guarantee origin and appellation.
Guatemalan
Coffees ® had been highly
prized in the international market since the first export in
1859. Recently, we have held two international competitions
and Internet auctions with the “Cup of Excellence®”
which offers the best Guatemalan coffees for well-known and
demanding worldwide companies who know about our excellence
of coffee through on line bids. An international jury of 23
members selected exceptional coffees to be sold to the best
bid.
The
results were astonishing: a pound of one of these unique lots
was bought at $11.00. This price talks by itself. But perhaps
reading jurors comments would help you get an idea of the quality
we are offering.
Our
challenge is to make these exotic and surprising Guatemalan
tastes available for the consumer. We would like to bring them
directly to your cup.
