Which coffee region is the best?

Antigua with pronounced acidity; Rainforest Cobán with a fragrant aroma with a light wine note; Volcanic San Marcos with a delicate and slightly flowery aroma; Highland Huehue with its marked acidity; Fraijanes Plateau with a generous a full body and New Oriente with an elegant aroma; all them characterized for the acidity, body and aroma of a SHB coffee type.

How much coffee should I use for brewing my Guatemalan Coffee?
We suggest 10 grams per 6 oz-cup or two soup-spoons and you may be delighted with the aroma, body and acidity.

What it is the ideal temperature for brewing my Guatemalan Coffee?
It must be from 92 to 96 C.

In what equipment can I brew my coffee?
If your coffee is already ground, you can use French Press and drip coffee makers. If your coffee is whole bean, you can grind it according the equipment to use. Remember, as long as the brewing time takes place, the grinding have to be coarser.

Strictly Hard Bean (SHB). According the altitude where coffee is grown, it receives a name. SHB type grows above 4,500 feet levels see and its aroma, acidity, body and a perfect aftertaste characterize it. Each region will delight you with its singular taste.

How long will my coffee stay fresh?
In an unopened bag, your coffee has a shelf life of 8 months. Once opened, the shelf life for whole beans is 7-10 days; ground 4-5 days.

If you use two soup-spoons per 6-oz cups, you will get about 46 – 50 cups.

How should I store my coffee?
The coffee that you purchase at Guatemalan-coffes.com is in a special bag, which keeps the coffee fresh. You can store the coffee in its packaged bag or in a sealed glass container, in a fresh place, far away from products with strong aromas.

Is it okay to reheat coffee in the microwave?
If you really enjoy a good cup of coffee, you will not like the taste of a reheated cup of coffee in a microwave. Coffee should never be reheated! Once your coffee is brewed, you can keep it in a sealed container in order to keep a stable temperature, such as a thermo.
