Our Personnel
Guatemalan
Coffees® has regional offices in
all of Guatemala's coffee growing regions. Personnel in the
rural areas have the responsibility of providing coffee growers
assistance with up to date techniques. They are also specialized
in all needs and characteristics of the geographical area,
including type of soils, altitudes, microclimates, annual
rainfall, temperatures that combine to produce a multitude
of regions.
Quality Control
However,
work in the field is just the beginning. Coffee samples from
every harvest are evaluated in our cupping laboratory. A master
cupper, internationally authorized, and his team taste around
100 samples daily. They make a report with cup characteristics
and recommendations that should be done in order to improve
quality.
Their
job is also to file these reports that can be revised and
compared with previous harvests in order to ensure quality
of a specific farm. They recommend the type of roast and room
temperature where coffee should be store to preserve their
unique characteristics.

We
have control in roasting, grounding, and packaging our product,
to give you an unique cup of coffee given by an exact roasting
grade according to your requirements.
